Qatar- Panama Relations

Relations were established under a memorandum of understanding on February 8, 2002.

Former Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli visited Qatar on February 28, 2010, signing the first agreement between the two countries, “The Agreement of Promotion and Protection of Investment”

The Embassy of the State of Qatar was inaugurated in the Republic of Panama in October 2012.
